I was travelling to Paris on Eurostar recently to join Paola in Auzon. Mabinta was taking her friend to Paris for the night as a treat for her friend’s birthday. The three of us got chatting…..and chatting…..and chatting… Eurostar does that to you. It turned out that Mabinta/Mabsz is a rapper of some renown. I do not consider myself as an expert or even someone familiar with rap, but I enjoy the cut and thrust and the energy of the whole thing….. Also, in this rap Mabsz seems to be commenting on the rap itself, rather than social conditions or political actions. The analytic/abstract nature of the rap appeals to me. Maybe to others too. Eitherway, I thought the site’s musical repertoire needed and upgrade and this is certainly it. Feedback welcome!
